Terms of service
Last updated October 30, 2026
These terms apply to drawing reviews provided by Engineering Drawing Checker, run by Fred Vierheller in Fort Worth, Texas. By ordering a review, you agree to them.
What the service is
We review engineering drawing documentation against ASME Y14.5 and drafting practice, and deliver a findings report of suggested corrections, each located by sheet and zone.
We check the drawing, not the design. The review does not verify whether the part or assembly will work, fit or survive its loads, and it does not cover strength, stress, tolerance stack-ups, material selection, manufacturability (DFM), cost, or your customer's or industry's design requirements. A findings report is not an engineering approval or a release of the drawing.
Your responsibilities
- You own the drawings you send or are authorized to share them and to have them processed as described in the NDA and our privacy page.
- You do not send ITAR-controlled, classified or contract-restricted drawings.
- You and your design authority decide which suggested corrections to make, and you make them in your own files. We never edit your files.
Packages, prices and delivery
- Basic, single sheet: 1 simple part drawing sheet, PDF findings report, delivered in 3 days. $29.
- Standard, small drawing set: up to 3 related sheets for one part or a simple assembly, findings by sheet and zone, delivered in 5 days. $59.
- Premium, extended set: up to 6 related sheets for one part or a simple assembly, organized findings report, delivered in 7 days. $99.
Delivery time starts when we have the signed NDA, the complete drawing package and payment. Rush delivery, when the schedule allows: Basic in 1 day for $15 more, Standard in 2 days for $30 more, Premium in 3 days for $50 more. We confirm a rush before you pay, and rush time starts the same way. Complex assemblies, dense drawing sets or more sheets are quoted separately before work starts.
Revisions
Each package includes one revision: a clarification of the delivered report. Reviewing a revised drawing is a new review.
Confidentiality
Your drawings are covered by the Non-Disclosure Agreement we sign before you send them. If these terms and the NDA disagree about confidentiality, the NDA applies.
Limits of the review
A review reduces the chance that a drawing error reaches the shop, but it cannot guarantee that every error is found. Our total liability for any review is limited to the price you paid for it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, U.S.A.
